Actually, closed because yours truly came back from Edinburgh (or, more likely, the plane I flew home on) with a really epic cold.
No, not Covid!!! I had my booster shot just BEFORE the vacation!!!
Anyway, as a result my work ethic has been shot to shit.

Umm, you can get COVID after a booster shot. The shot just protects you from getting a fatal case; or makes the symptoms generally weaker.

Whether or not it’s covid is something that requires testing, not guessing - as previously stated, the vaccination - very unfortunately, and contrary to what one would hope and various officials unfortunately said - does NOT prevent infection or reinfection.

it's my right arm that will never be the same, alas - broke it just below the shoulder joint a couple years ago, range of motion still a bit restricted - it could be lots worse - as bob newhart said, "60 feels just like 30, as long as you're sitting down."
DeleteI'm not running a temperature. It's just an annoying cold -- apparently it's been going around Europe (friends just came back to Forest Hills from Finland and Latvia and they had the same thing. Also the Shady Dame.)
