Okay, This is Getting Ridiculous. Why Aren't These Kids the Biggest Stars in the World?

Alright, I don't have to tell faithful readers of this here blog how great The Mona Lisa Twins are.

But their brand new cover of my favorite Peter Gabriel song just blows me away.

Uh guys -- would you please play live somewhere in the USA so I can see you before I die?

Thank you.

    1. Hofner - hard to be positive but it looks to be what's called "The Shorty Model "

  4. This song holds up so well...especially with it hitting it's 50th (!!!) anniversary next year, and such a nice performance. Thanks for posting.

  5. I'm not a fan of anything Genesis or adjacent, but this is a good tune. The ever-adorable sisters sing this one in unison and the result has a unique vocal tone complete with their quirky cute Austrian accents. They do not disappoint.

1977 - I'm sitting up on the 3rd floor of our house in Maine. "Peter Gabriel" album on the turntable. The needle drops on Solsbury Hill again and again and again.
The Sisters guitar opening riff was so good that 49 years later I sent that video to my Sisters

  7. Not an easy guitar part to play while singing. Well done. Great tune. Lots more good stuff in the Peter Gabriel song vault.
