It made me want to put my sax away forever.wdefthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17255181955509832568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921382.post-79020851696371385132007-11-18T18:34:00.000-05:002007-11-18T18:34:00.000-05:00When I am blue, mood or illness, I listen to some ...When I am blue, mood or illness, I listen to some Count Basie. His light touch on the piano and the way everyone with him swings just makes me happier. Fats Waller does that too.

Good for the soul.

TreyTMinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07221261635305430323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921382.post-80320099621422578002007-11-18T15:06:00.000-05:002007-11-18T15:06:00.000-05:00I have only one word for this: Swingin'!I have only one word for this: Swingin'!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921382.post-90799018205267730382007-11-18T14:05:00.000-05:002007-11-18T14:05:00.000-05:00This IS good medicine. This IS good medicine.B Northcuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00013673846217501512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921382.post-69491169933728757662007-11-18T14:00:00.000-05:002007-11-18T14:00:00.000-05:00Thanls for this, it really is superb. So, another great local drummer agreed to sit in--with no practices. It was really fun to be picked up off the ground by someone else! (And of course, my fiddle player, Jim, and bass player, Frank, who are multi-talented professionals, said after the gig, "It's great to play with a real drummer!")

Sorry you're not feeling well, steve. I look forward to you lindy-hopping me someday!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
