Woke up this morning to the news that Steve Cropper had passed. Damn! You know what'll be on the turntable today. What did the man say about this death shit?
If Steve Cropper had married Cher She would have been Cher Cropper - bada bing... RIP Steve , how many the times that I danced to "Knock on Wood" , a must play for every garage band during my youth . rob
Alzo, thanks for bring up the sad news of Croppers passing yesterday. Green Onions, Soul Man, Midnight Hour, Knock on Wood, 634-5789, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay and more in sessions legacy. He always looked to me like he got out of an 18 wheeler to join Lemmy and Waylon at the Dew Drop In. 🍻
