The Yoko joke works in the same vein as the classic Alice Coltrane bumper sticker. You may not know the music, but you get the idea.

the tongue as tie is graphically witty and politically quite relevant - i too want to defend yoko but cannot speak from experience of enjoying her solo musical offerings - "and so this is christmas" is nice
