...and from 2019.
In case you were wondering, the first pic is a frame cap from a pretty darn good student film shot at C.W. Post College featuring my then band God (what we were thinking?) at the height of the alleged counter-culture. The one on the bottom is from The Floor Models reunion show in this century, which officially marks the last time I will ever be glimpsed jumping up and down on stage.
You can watch the entirety of the film -- which is quite an amazing period piece, and only twenty or so minutes long -- over at YouTube HERE. The Tube also has very nice video excerpts from the Flo Mos show, but I'm too lazy to post the links. 😎

Ah, the FloMo reunion. It was such bittersweet fun.
ReplyDeleteNOW IT CAN BE TOLD: i spent far more time picking out my wardrobe for the show than i did relearning my bass parts. 😎
ReplyDeleteSo did your C.W. Post band have T-shirts/bumper stickers printed that had Eric Clapton's name crossed out and the logo "God Is God" on them??
ReplyDeleteAn obvious missed opportunity. 😎
DeleteBetter yet might've been 'God is Clapton'. Might've got more folks to your shows.
DeleteC in California
Two observations- Les Paul Goldtop - wish you still had it? Or do you and I'm jealous. And the artwork behind you in the lower picture is pretty damn fine. Where? Oh yeah- wardrobe is OK.
ReplyDeleteI sold the Goldtop circa 1976 for rent money. Don't get me started. 😎
DeleteMy friend sold his '65 Firebird for the same reason 😢
DeleteSteve, your reunion was at Shaboo ?
ReplyDeleteAl Anderson was there ? I saw the original Wildweeds back in the day.
Shaboo was a legendary club that was up there with Toads in New Haven
Alas no, pal. The reunion gig was at a local restaurant on the Upper East Side.
