Okay, my fondness for those kids is not exactly a state secret, but I'm absolutely over the moon about that one.
BTW, that's from their just released new album of 60s pop covers, which is otherwise pleasant enough but not life-changing. The above however...well, it's just freaking gorgeous, as you can plainly hear for yourselves. .
Why they aren't household words -- or at least been guests on Saturday Night Live -- is absolutely beyond me. 😎
Alright, since nobody seems motivated today, Im awarding a coveted PowerPop No-Prize© to whoever gleans the above’s relevance to tomorrow’s Weekend Listomania. 😎
ReplyDeletesteve, a lotta stuff buzzing around these days - this wonderful blog here is still delightful a day or two later - everybody who looked at it so far today thought there was nothing to disagree with- in the words of Mr. Rogers, almost a saint and I am not really kidding, "Correct as usual, your highness"
ReplyDeleteWhy no SNL for the MLT? not obnoxious enough - not really kidding again
tomorrow's topic? SNL - most or least obnoxious musical guests, these days or way, way, way back - culturally speaking i prefer not to condemn people very often, so i wouldn't name geese as obnoxious - sort of vacuous, however - more controversial might be timmy c. doing bobby z's songs
Tomorrow's Listomania is "All the ways Steve loves the ML Twins". Count them up!
