They, like the Mavericks, had the good sense to leave Cat's last verse out. <br /><br />I remember the first time I heard the Trems version on the radio. I was with Sandy and her older brother Vic smokin' a joint in the parking lot of Gazzarri's. We had just seen pre-record deal Iron Butterfly and the Enemys. Me and Sandy had a major crush on IB guitarist Danny Weis. The overnight DJ put "Here Comes My Baby" in the the middle of a set between "Little Games" and "Happy Jack".
