Pygmies Tramps and Thieves
Ready, Steady Go, 1965. Trust me, you won't believe this one.
Brian Jones and Cathy McGowan channel their inner Sonny and Cher, while Mick Jagger and Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham have a good old high camp hoot.
I have a laserdisc (from the 80s) of stuff from Ready Steady Go. This was on it, so I figured it was only a matter of time before it showed up on YouTube.
Anyone else hear the story of how Brian's gardner killed him and confessed on his deathbed? Apparently Brian was a real dick, the gardner lost his temper and popped him, Brian fell in the pool and drowned.
I have to admit Brian looks a bit livelier than he did in the Rock and Roll Circus movie.
ReplyDeleteIs it Keith Richards "playing" the tuba?

ReplyDeleteHard to believe how much he's changed, isn't it? He was actually cute at one time.
And what the fuck is Mick wearing?
Steve, I really don't know how you find this stuff.
