Saturday Glam Blogging...
The "bump" was the dance craze that was sweeping the nation in 1975 and glam also-rans Kenny tried to cash in with this dance number that hit #3 on the charts that year.
BTW everyone, I was at a friend's house the other evening and he had this cool book replete with CD. I didn't get much of a chance to examine it carefully, but it looked pretty boss.

Yikes, Stripes! That was remarkably horrid and I loved every cheesy minute.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years, KC.
Wow.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten how crappy a lot of the music of my youth was.
I remember the Bump as a dance usually done to funk music.
I don't remember the Bump and bubble gum.
At least the band played their own instruments.

ReplyDeleteYes, gentlemen, that song was especially craptastic, but I've found myself humming it the past few days!

I bought it too, and if I ever get my act together, I will post a review too.
