And then tore it up with so much else - "Having a Wild Weekend" - "Bits & Pieces" - "Catch Us If You Can" - and covers of Motown ("Do You Love Me?") and New Orleans ("I Like It Like That") staples.
Great balance, great energy. Big loss. (And IIRC, another member passed last year.)
When I was 14 The Dave Clark 5 was my favorite band in the world not the Beatles. They are still a hidden pleasure!

"Because"--just one of my favorite songs of all time. RIP, Mike, and welcome you and the band to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
