Seamus Romney (c. 1981 -- 199?)
Okay, I wasn't going to post today, but a seriously ailing Ollie the Formerly Radioactive Pussycat has asked me to put this up in honor of absent animal friends.
Have a great weekend, and light a metaphorical candle for Ollie, if you can.
The Devo song is really cool. Ry Cooder also sings about Seamus on his new album, with the also cool "Mutt Romney Blues." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct3BFR6GwFY I lost my best friend last year of almost 11 years (My cat Kintoki), so I hope Ollie hangs in there. My 2 cats are pulling for him.

Ollie and I thank you.
ReplyDeleteGreat tune, catchy, trenchant, richly deserved.
ReplyDeleteBut, to this Devo fan, it somehow doesn't sound like Devo! :)
It's no "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" but it's hard to write a good protest song.
ReplyDeleteAnd so, once again proving that there are no accidents, said Ollie was my holiday card last year ... complete with Devo flowerpot on his head. :-)
