Dick Jokes Say So Much
And speaking, as we were yesterday, of the great John Hiatt...
I saw him do this in a club in the late 80s, but I'd forgotten how funny it (and he) is.
One of my best friends here in Ohio, Robert Hoffman, is a singer-songwriter that I always love to compare to John Hiatt. This little gem, "Woman In A Cage," he wrote in 1995 for his new band at the time Uncle Daddy And The Family Secret. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7gyYoFb2qXQ
And there's his equally as subtle "Little Head." You know, the one that "does the thinking."
