The Family That Plays Together
From 2020, please enjoy Green Day's front guy Billie Joe Armstronget fils and a totally rockin' live cover of "I Think We're Alone Now."
As I'm wont to say, words fail me. I mean, a) Billie Joe looks barely older than the kids, and b) they were apparently genetically bred to be his rhythm section.
Not a huge fan of of this post punk style of music but Armstrong has a facility of creating earworms. While you won't find a Green Day CD in my library I recognize his unique versatility in crafting a listening experience. Zrob

I like "a facility (for) creating eagworms," but in this case it belongs to Ritchie Cordell.
ReplyDeleteHe does a fine cover of That's Rock And Roll by Eric Carmen. Check it out, it's on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteI really want to hate him, but I can't. That was just too fucking charming. And he sings like Billy Joel with a pulse.
