  3. I just finished reading Lenny Kaye's great semi-memoir ("Lightning Striking")...in a passing comment he says - and I paraphrase - that Gerry Marsden wore his guitar high across his chest in the Liverpool manner. The last part surprised me.

    I'm thinking that Chuck Berry was the template for low slung guitar.
