Okay -- Mystery Solved!
Apparently The Forty Fours -- whose weirdly unreal studio video we posted yesterday -- are an actual, living, breathing real band.
This is a relief, at the very least.

Fun facts on 44! It is the country code for England when making International phone calls. In mathematics it is number of possible derangements of 5 different items. It was the name of an American supergroup (+44). Shall I go on? No that is enough. rs
