Dear Steve, Not to run the previous thread into the ground, but there's plenty of R&B in groups like FOW. Anybody who plays a backbeat is Jackie Wilson's cousin, if you ask me.

plenty of r&b? I hear a bit in the beat, but not much soul in the guitar or singing.
