Jews to the Right of Me! Jews to the Left of Me! But Still I Soldiered On!
Oh, well...it IS Hannukah after all.
For more on Brigid Kaelin, the charming auteur of the above "Blue Dreidel No. 9", here's the link to her MySpace page. Obviously, a nice Jewish girl, and a shayneh punim for sure....
I was worried that she would rhyme verklempt with shrimp. The horror!
Funny you should mention that ... I work for a Catholic university. Last year at Passover, in the spirit of ethnic diversity, they made matzoh ball soup ... and then put shrimp in it!
Too funny! It reminds me of my college roomate who was an advertising major. He was told to come up with ad slogans for Dijob Mustard. His favorite was: "Dijon Mustard. It turns an everyday hotdog into a kosher meal!"
His professor, Dr. Feinstein, gave him an A for effort.
But I bet matzo soup (which rocks all on its own) would be great with a little shrimp.
I don't want to shock anyone, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that steve simels is....
