Ghoul VS Ghoul

Okay, our Cleveland contingent has convinced me. This Ghoulardi guy was pretty cool.

Zacherley still rules, though.

  2. Au contraire...Steve Simels rules!

I had found this clip as well. There is surprisingly less Ghoulardi stuff out there in UTube land than I would have thought. Regardless, it fits the bill with this video. Thanks.

    PowerPop is blogtastic.

  3. Then, on the other end of the spectrum, you had, in northern California, the great Bob Wilkins. Looked a little like Roy Thomas, dressed in a three-piece suit like a banker, and sat in his chair puffing a stogie while drolly offering up MSTK-esque, yet absolutely knowledgable, commentary on some very bad, yet enjoyable, sci-fi and horror films. Started out doing his show on a station out of Sacramento, then moved up to an independent in SF, where he had the privilege of world-premiering Ernie Fosselius' "Hardware Wars," among other milestones...

  4. Should have checked YouTube first: Bob Wilkins from 1967.

The guy he's interviewing, btw, is Harry Martin, who for some reason I never understood, covered the "entertainment" beat for the Sacto TV station Wilkins worked for. Martin, btw, was very popular, and interviewed tons of big stars, believe it or not...
