I should have watched to the end before asking who they were. The New Pornographers, I've known their name for years, but this is the first time I've ever put their name to their music.
I really am clueless about new music (even when this good) unless it's roots rock based. Thanks for the modern musical education the POWERPOP blogspot is giving me.
I downloaded the album "Hold On There, Youngster" by Los Campesinos! from eMusic last week. It reminded me of the New Pornographers if they were all 17 years old and all hopped up on Red Bull. I kind of liked it.
