The Sweetest Pussycat in the World....
...is ailing, so I'm gonna spend the next couple of days holding the poor little guy's paw. New posts will resume on Monday.

This is for Thers (or more accurately, NY Mary), but maybe also Steve S. will be interested.
Mary spent a bunch of time working on a fairly obscure Illinois band called Shoes. Her book is out, I am pretty sure.
In any case, the best station in Chicago, WXRT, just played a new single from them, "Heaven Help Us", quite good, their first in 18 years. Apparently there is a new album out from them, "Ignition". My suspicion is that Mary's book fueled them back into the studio.
Anyway, if she doesn't know, she should; and if she already knows, well done, Mary!
