With five of the actual Beach Boys -- including Brian and Carl -- contributing harmonies behind them.
And may I add that a) it's wonderful to see the Boys -- and in particular Brian(!) -- having such an obvious good time.
And b) if watching that clip doesn't make you smile from auditory canal to auditory canal, there's no hope for you. 😎

Thank you! What a great way to start the day.
Here’s a bit of heresy to start the discussion: I like that better than the original! (No kidding, I do!)

It's pretty great, and that's fer sure. Status Quo are way underrated -- here's another great cover they did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAnP2ck-7o4&list=RDfAnP2ck-7o4&start_radio=1
Status...very tight live band. Sad they only crossed here with Pictures of ...
Just listened to "Every time you walk into the room". Jackie DeShannon

Interesting, (though unrelated), fact: Good Vibrations was recorded for Pet Sounds, but left off (Brian’s choice); just as Penny Lane+Strawberry Fields was recorded for Pepper, but left off (record company demand for a single).
How much even MORE would be the reputation of those two albums with those inclusions??

The Quo's 'Caroline' is my wake-up alarm music.
Not to be confused with 'Caroline No,' which is a finalist for Prettiest Song Ever- as well as the song whose lyric was misheard by its own composer.
