when he played here last march he played a private party and made the mistake of posting the contact info on his website. so i called the dude throwing the party and asked if i could attend (pritty please?) and dude said "who are you?" and i said "know one you'd know. just a loser who happens to be a big fan of peter case/nerves and oh btw i have this little radio show and i'm a lousy concert photography." (all true.) apparently he doesn't share my sense of humor. he never called back.
