Oh, dear lord -- here's Rush and their unbearably irksome mini-opera Bytor and the Snow Dog.
A coveted PowerPop No-Prize will be awarded to the first reader who divines the clip's connection to tomorrow's Weekend Listomania.
Hint: It has nothing to do with Our Good Neighbors to the North per se, so ixnay on the Canuck jokes.

it's gotta be trios, right?
Rock operas?
Actual bands that come uncomfortably close to out Spinal Tapping Spinal Tap?
No, no, and no.
But I think I'm gonna use KC's one of these days.
:-)
Groups where the best reason to see them is the drummer? IE, the Stones, the Band....

It's not even the weekend yet, and you want to start an argument?
Songs about pets?
OK, and I'm going to draw flames here, but I like Rush.
Although I don't have much tolerance for this song, true...
Still nobody.
Here's what may be too big of a hint --
Think live performing.
billy,
I don't mind Rush. Actually, "2112" was de rigeur where I went to high school. Everybody had it. Actually, I saw them twice in the late 70s.
I don't mind Rush particularly, although I don't think I'd ever put anything but "Limelight" on shuffle rotation.
Bands that would have to pay you to see them in concert.

Very close, my friend.
All will be revealed just the other side of midnight, if you don't mind a Sidney Sheldon reference.
A band that unlikely as it seems played on the same bill as you?

We opened for Tommy Shaw of Styx once.
A real prick.
Also Robert Gordon, Spencer Davis (with two guys from Blue Oyster Cult), Eric Anderson, and Foster and Lloyd. Not exactly the A-list.
Is it the worst concert you've attended?
