I love this woman and I love this song, and I am here to tell you -- this is beyond question the cutest version of it you're ever going to see.
"One two three four...chickens just back from the shore."
Seriously -- do they say "the shore" in Canada? I thought it was just a New Jersey thing....

Thanks for sharing this. I love it. Cheered me up!
We canz be kidz again?
And in SoCal it's "beach". Except in fancy Newport where they call it "the coast".
Feist is from Calgary. Albertans don't know from oceans. Ontarians would say they were going to "the cottage" no matter what body of water it was on.
Sesame Street's allegedly in NYC, so maybe she's pulling a "When in Rome."
maybe because it rhymes with "four"? You may be overthinking this one.
Jerseyans say "going down the shore".
Jerseyans say "going down the shore".
Right. But apparently nobody else does ...
On our last visit, we sat next to this woman who was explaining to young relatives that they don't have to pay to get free copies of her CD. Next thing you know, she was everywhere.
I guess that is why you live in New York.
