Whipped Cream!

I saw this trending on my FB the other day, and it amused me mightily. It's from 2012. Enjoy!
You don't know her by name — maybe as the "Whipped Cream Lady" — but certainly by the album cover on which she is featured: the 1965 Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass' "Whipped Cream & Other Delights."
There she is, seemingly naked but covered in what is supposed to be whipping cream looking at YOU.
Whenever a list of the most memorable record covers is put together, that album is right at the top

I heard once it's actually shaving cream she's covered in because the whipped cream kept melting under the hot lights in the photographer's studio. And she was something like 7 months pregnant at the time.

My dad bought this album. I think it was because he wanted to play the cover. He had a bunch of these cheesecake classics. Hannes is right it is shaving cream. Which begs the question: Is it Noxzema?

Pregnant women do have a certain glow about them, don't they? I'm sure it helped her bust size as well.

Dolores Erickson is the same age as my mom who's also a brunet. I think my mom's far prettier. So what was dad thinking?

Nevertheless, I think this album was issued to every home in America in 1965. Pat Cooper's spaghetti parody of the cover is quite disgustingly funny.

Leon Russell, Carol Kaye and Hal Blaine are all over this record. And you can sorta strip to Love Potion No. 9.

P.S. a friend of mine unknowingly posed for a Pink Floyd bootleg album cover with a whip cream motif. It was a play on the title "A Nice Pair," and was called "A Great Set". You may have seen it, and her.

Cheers,

Simels has been busy. Trust me. He's been a real hero this week. And I am very grateful.

You do indeed know what boys like... Any more from that set of the frosting coquette? Who is she? I may have to write an album just to have that as the cover!
