Gorgeous indeed. And a reminder that we're overdue for a complete critical re-evaluation of those amazing three Mercury albums that Spanky and Our Gang created: Spanky And Our Gang, Like To Get To Know You, and Any Way You Choose b/w Without Rhyme Or Reason. They're crying out for a Simels Report.

I have seen these folks over the years playing in different bands around Chicago. These days, it is harder to find them because they are busy with various bands (NRBQ, Decemberists). Incredibly talented.

Saw Kelly Hogan do a show in a small place a couple of years back. Her cover of Magnetic Fields' "Papa was a Rodeo" was simply stellar....
