Sounds pretty darn cute even at this stage -- by which I mean it could pass for Rockpile.
And it's possibly the lead track from a forthcoming EP as yet untitled.

Speaking of the Outsiders... There was a great Tampa band also called The Outsiders at the time... did Stones, Yardbirds, etc. Great musicians. "Time Won't Let Me" came out, and the locals' management thought they should change their name. Changed it to Soul Trippers. Death move. Damn... they "coulda been a contender."
There was also a Dutch garage-band called The Outsiders and their output is well worth investigating, too.
I’ve written about the Dutch outsiders on one or two occasions here.
Glad you're getting back to recording! A promising project.
