Well, most of you, but we needn't get into the specifics of that right now.
Anyway, we need some help here. We were at the National Portrait Gallery on Friday, checking out the quite wonderful exhibition of Paul McCartney's eye of the Beatlemania storm (1963-64) photography, and came across this shot, which was identified as having been taken in Washington D.C.
The only problem being we can't find any record of a smut film/documentary about Ms. Keeler, the British call girl who helped bring down the Macmillan government in the UK, ever having been released in the States.
Or England either, for that matter.
Anybody out there have a clue? It's worth a coveted PowerPop No-Prize© if you do.
Coming tomorrow: Another travel dispatch from your two innocents abroad.

Found this on IMDB... Christine Keeler Story from 1963.
Starring Yvonne Buckingham & John Barrymore.

And for you theater fans: The Art Theatre was originally the Hippodrome, which you can see on the awning. In 1970 it became the Mark II, the first all male gay theatre. Eventually moved back to straight porn because it was more profitable. Building now demolished
Info from Motion Picture Exhibition in Washington DC, Robert K Headley.
Punctuation matters!
I believe it's 2 different movies - 1. The Christine Keeler Story and 2. "Blaze Starr Goes Nudist" (a 1962 movie). Marquee is short on space so they didn't include full titles.

Next time you're asked the eternal poser 'What is Art?', show them this. That'll do.
I am amazed and humbled by the responses here.
I have, unquestionably, the worlds coolest readers.😎
Part 2 (which due to technical difficulties is posting first)
So, yeah, I have a huge photo of Keeler hanging in the guest room. It's the famous nude chair photo shot by Lewis Morley during the height of the Profumo scandal. Found it an estate sale in the ritzy part of Pasadena. I didn't like the frame it was in because it did not suit my decor.
Took it to the framer. This guy does so much business with me that, during the lean times, I keep him alive. I gave him a Ford Ranger for keeps after his car took a shit. Anyway, when he took the frame off, we were both happy that the previous framer didn't mount it to the backing. It was hinged with acid free tape. Best of all, both the photographer and Keeler signed the back of the photo. What a find! All in all, with the frame and mat it's around two and a quarter feet by one and a half feet. Looks great on the guest room wall. Guests are usually pretty clueless as to who it is. Nevertheless, it is sometimes a conversation piece.
Ray Davies name-checked her in "Where Are They Now?" from what I consider an underrated Kinks album, Preservation Act 1. Then there's the Phil Ochs tune "Christine Keeler," which also tips the hat to her sometimes partner in crime, Mandy Rice-Davies.
Oh, Keeler also got a few, all-too-brief, dark cut-away shots in the Bryan Ferry video for “Kiss and Tell.” Too bad that they used her so sparingly. Guess the director wanted to feature the young flesh of Bill Wyman's teen bride, Mandy Smith, more. Smith's voguing is annoying and unsexy IMHO. Much more mysterious are the brief Keeler shots.

Part 1 hasn't been publishing for some reason. Something's up with the blogosphere or google. I can't figure it out.

I'll try one more time in sections. Section A.
Sometime in 1963, my dad was reading the newspaper and joking with my mom about what a "naughty" girl Christine Keeler was. I asked my dad who Christine Keeler was and why he felt that way about her. He avoided the question by changing the subject. I was only eight years old but his dodging piqued my curiosity. I knew they were trying to shield me from something "adult". When he finished with the paper I scoured it looking for stories about this "Christine Keeler."
Section B - One sentence at a time
I found a couple of stories about Keeler and absorbed them like a sponge.
Section B - 2 more sentences
She was a model, party girl and alleged hooker. She was sleeping with guys in high places engaging in lotsa kinky sex.
Section B lets go for broke this time.
Christine smoked marijuana and took pep pills. Her alleged pimp committed suicide. She was involved with mobsters, held incriminating tapes, was enmeshed in international intrigue, consorted and fornicated with Russian spies and got the Minister of War to take off his mascara and resign in disgrace. What's not to like about her story?! She kicked Ellen Rometsch's ass. And, to boot, she looked like Capucine with auburn hair.
I followed the stories till they threw her in Holloway Jail ("They took my baby to Holloway Jail"). By that time JFK's assassination and the Beatles had taken most of my attention from Keeler.
Without a doubt, this was a young woman living life to its fullest. I admired her for that. In the big picture, she wasn't as cool as later arrivals Raechel Donahue, Dusty Street, Betty Cantor, Vicky Vinyl or Shirley Muldowney, but she was definitely a fellow lioness.

I had to re-write, re-phrase and change inoffesive words to get that fucker to go up. I'd list the words, but if I do, the comment won't post. I'm gonna send the list of words in the next comment. But if there isn't a next comment, you know why. Yes, it has driven me crazy.

The list won't post. Maybe it's the combination of all them together that's causing the kink. So let me experiment and try them one at a time.
word one
orgies
word two
cuckoldry
The other words won't publish.
One is a synonym for sex worker that has three syllables and starts with the letter "P".
