These are Mad magazine worthy! HA!
This harkens back to the days when automation was creeping into Top 40 radio. I'll always remember driving along on a summer day and the (canned) announcer blurting out "And now, another fun-in-the-sun golden oldie!!" ...and then hearing 'Eleanor Rigby.'
I remember in the late '60's a hard rock DJ said "... and next we'll hear a song by Jimmy Hendricks", trying to lure a Hendrix crowd. He played "Summer Rain".
