Ok, so I'm watching "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and I have to say that it is CRAPTASTIC!!! At first I thought it was going to simply be crap.. but no.
Since Thers has, rather evilly, decided to watch something else.. thus depriving you of this Craptacular Masterpiece, I shall give you the highlights.
The cheesy Brit host, who looks like he was born in 1989, by the way, is annoying.. worried me at first... Then came Loverboy. Time was not a friend to Mike Reno, but at least he didn't wear the red leather pants and the headband.
A Flock of Seagulls were simply HILARIOUS.. the haircuts are no more, but then so is the hair.. and they can't sing.. but could they ever? The singer looks like he spends a lot of time drinking beer and watchin NASCAR..
Arrested DEvelopment were actually good.. But then they always could sing...
Tiffani has been... enhanced... somewhat.. and she can't sing either.
Now, everyone is doing a cover from a current hit.
Loverboy did "Hero".. not too badly either
aFoS did some pop song that I don't ever remember hearing.. and they did it badly...
Time is indeed a bitch goddess...
But I gotta tell ya.. this is THE most hilarious show I've seen in a while...

A host of indie rockers descends on the Bandshell for an early Canada Day fete, led by Vancouver supergroup the NEW PORNOGRAPHERS. Fresh off the release of its extraordinary third album Set Yourself on Fire, Montreal's STARS is one of the Great White North's hottest bands. THE SADIES come from Toronto with a distinctive sound that incorporates everything from traditional country to surf music to garage rock. Presented with major support from the Canadian Consulate General in New York.

The studio audience is voting on who dosen't suck now...
Arrested Development did a really nice cover of "How Far is Heaven"... they really haven't changed much..
Tiffani made bad outfit choices and coverd Kelli Clarkson.. sigh.. I suppose it's a fitting choice as Kelli is the Tiffani of today...
The 'winner' gets a donation to their fave charity... They are calling the participants "Legendary Artists".... another sigh...
And the winner is Arrested Development. Good.
In summation, if you are going to watch a reality show, then watch this one. Next week it's Vanilla Ice!
