Ok, I'm not a gamer, but I find this totally cool and well, there just aren't a lot of Left Banke videos on YouTube. This is one of my fave songs by the band and the Sim2 thing is strangely compelling.
What is really criminal is that there is not a compilation of Left Banke music presently in print. Checking Amazon, the previous comp, There's Gonna Be a Storm is changing hands for big bucks. This music should NEVER go out of print.

That's astounding...who the hell did that?
BTW -- have I mentioned that it is a crime against humanity that their stuff is now totally out of print? Somebody stole my copy of "There's Gonna Be a Storm" and apparently the ones on Amazon are going for like 300 bucks...
Also -- did I tell you that my band used to do a kick ass version of She May Call You Up Tonight?
God, I love the Banke...
Steve,
I have NO idea who did this, but it's apparently someone who has a lot of time on his/her hands thankfully.
Of all the sunshine pop/orch pop stuff, I don't think anyone did it any better than the Left Banke. Their music is just lump in the throat beautiful.
So, when are you gonna cough up that video of your band?? I may even be tempted to unearth some audio of my garage band circa '81 or so.
My copy of that video is currently in storage, but the guy who has the master might be persuaded to upload some of it. I keep forgetting to give him a call...
It's actually super high quality, and I'm still quite proud of the band.
"Desiree" is way up there on my list of favorite 45 singles, just below the top ten with "Pretty Ballerina" not too far behind. This faux video is actually quite tasteful. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting my video!! Anyone who wants to download it can get it at leftbanke.nu I also have alot of free LB music there too. Thanks again.
Thanks charlemange (good name!) Cool video too! How 'bout doing one with "Goodbye Holly"?? :o)
Hey charlemange I just went to your website. I see you already did do one for Goodbye Holly!!! Well done!
Goodbye Holly was the first machinima I ever did. I thought you were being sarcastic with your first comment :)
If you check out my youtube channel I have a Doctor Who machinima that has the LB performing Lazy Day at the beginning.
