My new favorite band -- The Electric Six.
I'm not a hundred percent sure what these guys are up to in the larger sense, but they make me laugh anyway. There's a level of insincerity here that I find hilarious.
Plus "I don't mind your rabid doggy" may be the greatest opening line in rock history....

Reminds me of early Tonio K. Hope they don't find religion!
Glad he didn't kill the dog, which I was expecting any second, considering the way he was handling it.
Hope they supply more good music in the future as this is a promising start. I love quality wiseguy music!

You might find this one of their efforts amusing as well.
Apparently the surviving members of Queen were not amused, which is a good sign, obviously.

Dogs are a major theme in their ouevre, it seems...
Lead singer Dick Valentine(not his real name) on the controversy over the Queen parody video:
Though some have claimed this video portrays me dancing on Freddie Mercury's grave, actually it's more like we are resurrecting Mr. Mercury for the duration of the song and his grave is the logical starting point. Anyhow, everyone knows we disliked the fact that we had to put this song on our record, so this ridiculous video took a little bit of the sting out of it for us and made it somewhat bearable. It was also very rewarding to work with dogs.

I've never really been a Queen fan, but I suppose I can see how they would take this as disrespect to the late Mr. Mercury. I'd be more sympathetic to their feelings if they had not done that tour with Paul Rodgers (Paul Rodgers?) as Mercury's replacement and one of the surviving band members not participating. Is the Electric Six any more disrespectful to his memory?
You don't need the video to hear the sneer in his voice. Really funny! And I love the tension between the kind of bubblegum song, especially the intro, and being the guy who buys the drugs!

Plumber, I was thinking of Tonio K as well. And that is a good thing.
