And, coincidentally and utterly surprisingly, I found myself falling desperately in love with a certain Shady Dame at the same time.
With that song as the soundtrack.
Up on the roof tops
The full moon dips its golden spoon
I wait on clip clops
Deer might fly
Why not? I met you
I am pleased to report that here in late 2013 the song -- especially that quoted bit -- still makes me cry.
And, even more unlikely (and luckily), that I'm still desperately in love.
And that the aforementioned Shady Dame is still putting up with my bullshit.
Here's hoping all of you guys are as blessed.
And have a great Holiday season.

Here here Steverino! I am blessed with a wonderful woman as well. Wishing you and Wendy a great New Year! We will get together for dinner in January, promise.
So when do we get to meet her??
Suggestion: tomorrow night at our Weasel get-together.
I'll ask her, but it's a major shlep from Brooklyn.
Didn't you play Major Shlep in "How I Won the War"?
Nothing like being blessed with a wonderful woman. I feel lucky every day.
Oh, jeez --- can you tell I'm blushing? :-)
Hello all...no, please remain seated,
Steve, great choices in song and, apparently, in life partners. I'm a big Weepies fan and love to see them get some love. Love that your love is getting some love, also. Lovely. Happy holidays....
regards,
RichD
Love you guys.
