From 2008, please enjoy The Bangles absolutely killing it on a version of the Todd Rundgren/Nazz classic "Open My Eyes."
I gotta say that's about as transplendent as it gets, for Debbi Peterson's drumming alone. And don't even get me started on the harmonies.

You're right about the harmonies- they make up for the flat lead vocal. And don't even get me started on the cowbell.

Too bad The Nazz fizzled so quickly as they were a very talented bunch.
That really is nice.
A really nice track. Bangles were not, generally, taken seriously at the peak of their renown. Really good musicianship on this one.
