U.K. reissue company Now Sounds has issued two CDs on Ruthann's work - "Windy: A Ruthann Friedman Songbook" (CRNOW42) and "The Constant Companion Sessions (CRNOW49)- for those who want to use physical media (yay!) for "further research".
Excellent. A bit mellower than the Association's take, but every bit as good.
You have rocked my world again. I never knew the Association's wonderful take was a cover. I hope she got a good chunk of change for it.
I'm kind of surprised that you never knew or heard this.
