When my son was around 12 years old I bought tickets to surprise him on his birthday for a Weird Al show despite the fact that at that time in my life I REALLY had little appreciation for Weird Al, maybe because my son played this music constantly in the house which pretty much drove me nuts. I realize, it’s a short drive. He was absolutely thrilled. Anyhow, we went to see the show at the Mayo Theatre down in Morristown and it was one of the absolute best shows I’ve ever seen. His band kicked ass, and he was hilariously entertaining, not to mention an amazing accordion player. 87 costume changes, not one moment of dead air. Outstanding! I finally got it. Go see him while you can.
