From 1978, here's The Who, featuring the late Keith Moon and the more recently late John Entwistle, and their perhaps overexposed classic "Who Are You."
As always, a coveted PowerPop No-Prize will be awarded the first reader who gleans the clip's relevance to tomorrow's Weekend Listomania.
And BTW, no, the theme is not "Rock Songs That Have Been Used as TV Theme Songs."

Autobiographical songs?
"I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name..."
(Love Who Are You, BTW.)
songs about transportation ? "underground"
Songs used for television or movies.
I'll venture a guess as bands with members that have joined that Great Gig in the Sky.
Or is that too dead obvious...
Songs that became hits after the death of one or more of the principals.
Post-Beatle songs that pose questions
Best clap-tracks?
No, 1000 times no, to all.
All the hand clapping thing intrigues me....
:-)
is 'songs that reference the name of the band in the title' just too stupidly obvious?
PWEASE say it's PES's with awesomely fantastic bass solos! if it is i cannot WAIT for the starter pistol!!
okay, here's a hint --
It's the question in the title....
:-)
songs with "I'm" in the title?
Songs with pronouns in the title? That would make a lot to choose from!
I shouldn't do this, but...
Who are you?
quel est votre nom?
:-)
Songs with the name of the band in the title?
BTW, your SR review of the album "Who Are You" ripped it massively; have you changed your mind about the album or just the title track?
Also, Townshend must have a thing about hand clapping - check out Bargain from the DVD of the Lifehouse concerts - the whole band is good-naturedly mocking him about the syncopated hand claps...
I shouldn't do this, but...
Who are you?
quel est votre nom?
:-)
Last second guess: Songs Whose Titles Are A Proper Name
