Ok, I gotta admit, I am a fan of "Nederglam." That is, glam rock from the low countries and this is a wonderful example of the genre. This is Bonnie St.Claire and Unit Gloria with their single from 1972 called Clap Your Hands and Stamp Your Feet. This rocks my world and I hope you dig it too!
Cheers!

It continually boggles my mind that you find this stuff.
That song's a hoot -- thanks!

Speaking of Dutch bands, I just found a donwload of the never on CD Shocking Blue "Live in Japan" LP from 1973 (Holland and Japan only). Which I've been looking for since reading about it in Billboard that year.
I don't know if your a fan, but it's a really good record. Interested?
so why are they singing in English?
I, for one, would like to see white overalls make a comeback.
Great tune!
Hey Steve, I'd be interested in the Shocking Blue live thing. Could you send me a link or a zip, thanks, Frank
wow they are like the pre-blondie, right down to the songs and production... so cool.
Man, that ugly guy from Slade sure looks good in a wiag and white jump suit!
Seriously, it has quite a Slade vibe, but not mirrored boots alas.
Trey
This song (and 23 more Nederglam hits) are included on an amazing CD that came out last year called, of all things, Clap Your Hands And Stamp Your Feet on the Excelsior label. The label's page for the CD is a little impenetrable, but a Google search for 'clap your hands stamp your feet excelsior' will turn up some additional info.
