A Spy in the House of Love

As promised, that parody Bond poster from the February 1977 National Lampoon.

Incidentally, if you left-click on this two or three times, it enlarges significantly.

Hey -- I meant in case you wanted to print it out.

Jeebus, what's wrong with you people.

Note to self: Tedious 70s dick jokes less interesting to readers than feared.

Well, I clicked a couple of times but no "enlarging".

And the reason I was clicking was to see if I could find an artist credit line. Dirty old man!

Trust me -- try again, it works.

And gimme I minute, I'll pull out (heh) the actual NatLamp issue and get the artist credit.

Not everything from the 70's has aged well. I'll leave it right there.

try right click, then open in new tab or window. that should let you enlarge enough to see credit. personally, i though the split beaver one was hilarious at the time (i was in college) and still brings a chuckle.

verification word: valisal-sounds like a topical ointment from the 70's

According to my sources at NatLamp, including the guy who art directed the issue, the poster was done by Bob Larkin.

Think you meant "than hoped," not "than feared."

Where is FLM when you need him?

Vox pop: Tedious '70s dick jokes still tedious.

It's funny - I was looking at some covers Larkin did for the early 70s Marvel version of "Planet of the Apes" the night before you posted this - I kid you not!

Actually you can see the artist's credit. Next to Connery's foot.
