My new least favorite band. Mumford and Sons.
Okay, to be fair, they're not really terrible. And at least on paper they should be precisely the kind of 21st century folk-rock I would normally dig.
I dunno, though. Maybe it's just me, but they seem awfully pretentious about trying to be unpretentious.

This band is so much better than any of my least favorite bands, yet i am moved to say, just as there are million dollar chords, "they seem awfully pretentious about trying to be unpretentious" is yet another a million-dollar Simels line I wish I had writ.
Sorry.
They bore me to tears.
I really loved the first album. Follow-up, not so much.
Arcade Fire, on the other hand, can kiss my ass.
The thing all these bands miss are actual tunes. Appearing to be earnest is bullshit. They're entertainers, but they don't entertain, they lecture.

Dad?
Sounds like Fleet Foxes and Coldplay had a baby and named it Dexy.
