Oh fuck it, the Absolutely Worst Thing in Any Category in Human History.
Gods of Heavy Metal (in Canada) Thor with their 1977...whatever it is..."Keep the Dogs Away."
Have I mentioned that these guys were Canadian?

Makes Spinal Tap sound like The Beatles.
Did he join the Village People?
ROTP(lumber)
That's hilarious.
Holy Christ!! Chippendale Rock!
Creem used to make fun of this guy all the time.
Worse karate moves than cheeseburger Elvis.
That's pretty sad. definitely a band for the guys.
Speaking of pretty awful, what if Charles Manson had opened for the Stones at Altamont? This is probably the closest we'll ever come to it, in the most unsafe for work way ever:

All you need is drums, bass, and a psychopathic drifter.
This if the first line from the lead singer's Wikipedia page:
"Jon Mikl Thor (born in Vancouver, Canada, 1955), is a bodybuilding champion, actor, songwriter, screenwriter, historian, vocalist and musician."
Too funny.
He should have done the soundtrack for "The Room."

Pretty lousy, but not exquisitely so. Kinda forgettable. Just another crumby hard rock band with a stupid gimmick. Albeit really crumby. Ever hear their cover of "Sweet Jane?":-) JK.
And what about "Thunder On the Tundra?" Laughable shit, man.

The mental picture of Merv Griffin being Thor's bitch is another thing entirely.
And let's leave "The Room" alone. That one comes real close to exquisitely awful.

I just watched again after some delicious mood-improving homemade tacos. It's more exquisitely bad than I first thought.
Thor is like Michael Blodgett fucking Herman Brood on steroids.

My brother actually had this album. Need I say that the purchase came with a great deal of buyer's remorse?
