From 1965, please try not to enjoy the Lovin Spoonful and "Younger Girl." You obvious pedophile.
For what it's worth, I should add that I actually thought this song was a tad creepy back in the day. Not as creepy as that creepy Gary Puckett and the Union Gap thing...
...but that one I hated just because it was a bad song.
I should add that while I totally don't believe John Sebastian ever abused anybody, I make no such claim for anybody even remotely associated with The Critters...
...who actually had the hit.

You left out Donovan's "Superlungs My Supergirl" --
You see this kind of chick in every town
Whenever there's a scene she's always hangin' around
She's so naive and innocent, stares at you with awe
She's only fourteen but she knows how to draw
Chorus: Supergirl, Supergirl, Supergirl, Supergirl
Supergirl She's my Supergirl and I love her)
Supergirl She's my Supergirl and I love her)
She never gets involved with blowing her cool
She's to visit painting sky with her classmates in school
Teachers they ignore her, they would if they could
She ain't quite grown up yet but her breathin's real good
CHORUS.
I left that out because everybody knows Donovan is gay.
In any case, the children of the Critters really need to write letters of Nick Kristoff.
Roy Harper's "Forbidden Fruit" is one of the worst, and he just got hit with some allegations.
Harper's one of those guys who's work I've always meant to check out but never got around to.
Maybe I won't, if that stuff turns out to be true.
"Teenarama" by the Records --a power pop classic, and pretty darned creepy.
In the Records defense I'm sure they were implying the woman in question was 19.
In defense of The Critters, "Mr. Diengly Sad" more than made up for any offenses (even though it does contain the line "Show me love, unlock all doors, I'm yours.") And a bonus point for being from Plainfield, NJ.
love "Mr. Diengly Sad." Fantastic pop.
What about Peter Yarrow? And for bonus points it rhymes with Mia Farrow!!
how about Dorey Previn's "Beware of Young Girls"
it's about Mia Farrow

Michael Nesmith/Monkees: Sweet Young Thing
Ahem, Stray Cat Blues
Can't believe no one's referenced Led Zeppelin's 'Sick Again'.
The entire Knack oeuvre, save the Holly cover.
