The Japanese ambassador to the United States straps on a Fender Stratocaster and performs a credible version of the Jimi Hendrix arrangement of "The Star Spangled Banner."

I read once that Hendrix was set to wear a bow tie at Woodstock, but mistakenly left it on the helicopter that shuttled him over from the Nevele in nearby Warwasing, where he was staying. The headliner at the Nevele that weekend? Bill Dana!
Hendrix was staying at the Nevele?
The mind wobbles.
Funny you should mention Bill Dana. It gives me the opportunity to promote the other best blog on the web: https://classicshowbiz.blogspot.com/2011/01/interview-with-bill-dana.html
If you start reading it, you might not come up for days.
