Had a rotten day -- chased (unsuccessfully) our pussycat around the house without being able to grab him and take him to the vet (he was supposed have dental surgery) and then had to shlep into Manhattan in the rain for a doctor's appointment of my own. (Nothing to worry about, but a pain in the tush, not meant literally.)
Delightful new music resumes on the morrow, scout's honor.

Weird, we had the same cat experience on the same day. Also for dental surgery!
Wow, that IS a weird coincidence. Here's another one in this strange and, yes, rotten year: a husband and wife that I know both had head injuries (from bumps, falls) at different times in 2024 and had to have the SAME brain operation, separately, in the same year. The odds of that have got to be pretty long. Btw, they are both recovering nicely from their operations and are resuming their normal lives.
Yipes.
