The song, BTW, is off the Grape's 1971 attempted comeback album, which I found seriously disappointing when it was new, but I gave it a cursory re-listen while getting ready to post today and it seems to be better than I realized in my callow youth. I'll do the research and get back to you. 😎😎

Well if nothing else, that comeback album (20 GRANITE CREEK) has the song "Gypsy Wedding", one of Bob Mosley's great soul-shouts (love that voice!)

Not great but a pretty good record. Gypsy Wedding, Goin Down To Texas, Horse Out In The Rain, and a couple of swell Jerry Miller blues songs. It deserved a better fate, just like the band.

1st album for me could be a desert island disc - it made my top 9 yesterday.
Having listened to the above and subsequent earlier releases they were a band searching for a sound and threw in every thing including the kitchen sink
