From the incredibly great Chris Hillman's swell new album...
...please enjoy his terrific remake of Gene Clark's magnificent "She Don't Care About Time."
That was originally the b-side of "Turn Turn Turn" back in October of 1965. Here's what it sounded like then, in case you've forgotten.
Je repete -- a b-side. I don't want to say "those were the days," but by golly they were.

First heard "She Don't Care.." on the Cryan' Shames' first LP(in the midwest they had an almost Beatle-like rep). It also turned up on Gene Clark's "Roadmaster" LP.
I think it was around this time that Michael Clarke appeared as a celebrity contestant on The Dating Game.
Gene Clarks's best song, and that's saying something.
That's beautiful.

Gene Clark was the best songwriter in the Byrds.
