The Classics Never Get OId!

From sometime in the late 60s (or possibly early 70s), please enjoy the incredibly great Bonzo Dog Band with their cover of Terry Stafford's "Collusion."

Okay, actually the song is called "Suspicion."

But it's not like there's really a great deal of difference.

The tongue in cheekiness reminds me of Zappa's "Ruben and The Jets".

I still love the Bonzos and had the pleasure of meeting Neil Innes in 2014. Nice guy.

I don't know how I missed this! I was in my first year in college, and was a DJ at a station at Michigan State University with limited reach...one of my proudest moments was "popping the clutch" on "Sister Ray" by the Velvet Underground and let it segue into "Sludge" from the Bonzos "Let's Make Up And Be Friendly"! I'm sure my limited listenership was not amused! :)
