The trailer for Martin Scorsese's upcoming documentary on one of those Beatles guys.
In a word -- wow.

Most underrated George Harrison Beatles song: It's All Too Much. Most overrated: While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Acts that redeemed him after burdening the world's record collecdtions with the All Things Must Pass and Concert for Bangladesh: financing Monty Python films; Traveling Wilburys.
hilarious that one must sit through an advertisement to watch a trailer.
I know, Joe - right?
Eric Idle said, "The quiet Beatle? I could never get him to shut up!"
What opened my eyes about George was his mid-80s cable special with Carl Perkins. Seek it out by all means.
If only for Perkin's rug.
:-)
Seriously, that special was great.
True Beatlemaniacs know George's epic role in that band as well as all music history, but having Scorcese at the helm raises it many notches.
Favorite George song: Don't Bother Me. How old was he when he wrote that, 19?

It's easy to forget, when you see four cute young guys in snappy suits, that they were serious rockers. But just look at that opening shot.
