1/this is the future - we got to live it or live with it
2/one way to live with it is to recall music we enjoyed before - to discover new renditions of that familiar music - and to find new music that also tickles the appreciation bone
3/this blog, the proprietor and the commenters, has given me literally hours or strictly speaking some multiples of hours of fun - chicken soup for the soul, sometimes - if it continues there may be more yet
4/and if it closes down - que sera, sera - may all find love, peace, and joy in their future endeavors

I think many millions of us just need a break right now. It's been an EXHAUSTING, DISPIRITING year.
Don’t worry Steve and Powerpop will be back. It may just take a while for all of us to adjust to the new future.

I'm sympathetic, but I have to be realistic- this year will be pleasant compared to the next. And the three after that.
